Fallout from Maidstone C. difficile outbreak continues
Staff members at Maidstone have been sacked and disciplined as a result of the outbreak at Maidstone. All of the staff were either healthcare assistants or trained nurses. The only manager to have any form of action was the CEO who was allowed to resign with a severance payment (although that is being reviewed). Full story on the BBC News site here.
